Tier System

Chain Wars has a tier system which enables players who invest or hodl more to have higher influence. This manifests itself in Voting Power and Reward per Win, creating a dynamic in which participating in the game is not only fun, but also lucrative and an efficient way of spending time for everyone (from any income class). It also centivizes people to hold their tokens instead of dumping them for additional rewards.

Usecases

As of now there are 6 tiers. From tier 1 to 6, all usecases scale up in benefits. The usecases are:
  • Reward per Game
  • Governance
  • Tier Holding Rewards
  • Land benefits
The usecases will increase in number as Chain Wars evolves. Reward per Game will determine your rewards based on playstyle and results each game. For example, if you play certain cards or win a game you can earn additional rewards. The tier system acts as a multiplier.
Governance directs the game in the right direction. This is a community driven model. Tiers determine the amount of Voting Power (VP) for each decision. See Governance for detailed info.
Tier Holding Rewards will provide holders of CWE with suitable airdropped rewards corresponding to their tier. Players are required to stake a Season Tier NFT (unique every month) to claim these airdrops. The rewards will consist mostly out of in-game items such as resources and NFT's.
Tiers will also provide players with Land Benefits. These benefits might be tweaked in the future. For example, players can earn more resources from PvE battles and get more CWE as players cross their land.
